Under the theme: “Mixing and Mashing as One Guyana” Blackstone Sounds will hold its annual celebration of Masharama.
Games and musical entertainment is expected to begin at 12:00 noon followed by the opening ceremony and a Cultural Wear Performance at 7:00 p.m. at the Villa Grounds in Charlestown on Saturday, February 25th, 2023.
The festivities will follow Guyana’s Republic Day which is celebrated on February 23rd. A number of cultural displays and cuisines will also be available for members of the public wishing to attend.
