Media Professionals engage in training regarding Social Protection in SKN

Members of the media across St. Kitts and Nevis had the opportunity to engage in a series of training surrounding the area of Social Protection.

 

 

 

The United Nations Joint Sustainable Fund hosted a Social Protection for Media Professionals Workshop on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May 2024. Discussions and presentations were made on the importance of social protection in a country, the misconceptions associated with the topic and how information about different initiatives and issues should be disseminated to the public.

 

 

 

Facilitators of the workshop shared the results of social programmes in St. Kitts and Nevis and the region and also spoke on the challenge faced in acquiring current data and statistics along with the work being done to remedy the issue.
