Medical Assistance Team to aid in SKN’s healthcare services for two weeks
A team of expert consultants and healthcare professionals, who are part of the U.S. Air Force Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) 2025 Mission to Saint Kitts and Nevis, was officially welcomed during a ceremony on Monday March 24th, at the JNF General Hospital.
The LAMAT 2025 Mission is being supported by the Republic of China (Taiwan) to enhance its impact.
Specialized medical care across a wide range of fields will be offered by the team, including Emergency Medicine, Neonatal and Pediatric Care, ICU and Critical Care, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Audiology, Physiotherapy, Medical Technology, Family Medicine, Radiology, Diabetes Education, and Nutrition.
The partnership between the Medical Assistance Team and ROC Taiwan aims to strengthen healthcare services and provide valuable medical support to the Federation during their stay.
The team will be in the Federation for approximately two weeks.
