As the world prepares to celebrate men on International Men’s Day, the Departments of Gender Affairs on both St. Kitts and Nevis continue to promote their activities to recognize men across the federation.

According to the organization, International Men’s Day celebrates the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities along with highlighting positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being. Stemming of this year’s global theme: “Zero Male Suicide”, the theme being pushed in St. Kitts and Nevis is “Men’s Health Matters”.

The Departments of Gender Affairs planned a number of activities including a National Awards Ceremony and Cocktail, a Men Can Cook Initiative, Buss a Pot Cook Off and a Wear Blue Day.
