SKN Moves Nevis Chapter held its Cooking to reduce NCD’S and Quiz Competition on Saturday, November 23rd, at the Jessup’s Community Centre.
The event kicked off at 10:00 a.m. with a total of three cooks. These cooks received one (1) hour to in advance to prepare before the start of the competition.
In round 1, Candacia Anthony won that round with 237 points, followed by Henrique Webster with 227 points and 3rd place, Michelle Freeman with 226 points.
The points of the Cook-off were taken over to the Quiz competition on Sunday November 24th at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (NEPAC).
At the end of the quiz, Michelle Freeman was the overall winner with 364.5 points, 2nd place went to Candacia Anthony with 351 points and third place Henrique Webster amassing 331.25 points.
Ms. Freeman received the winning trophy from SKN MOVES Nevis Chapter in collaboration with the Ministry of Health et al. and TDC Nevis Limited.
The 2nd place winner, Ms. Anthony received a prize from Courts (Unicomer) and the 3rd prize winner H. Webster received a voucher from Sensational Restaurant and a food flask.
