Federal Minister of Culture, Hon. Samal Duggins officially launched the History and Heritage Month of Activities for St. Kitts and Nevis.
This year’s month of activities will be celebrated under the theme: “Celebrating 400 years of African Ancestral Creativity and Ingenuity”. The launch was done by way of an address where Minister Duggins spoke on the importance of celebrating the lives and contributions of the ancestors and also expressed his gratitude to local organizations who educate citizens, residents and visitors on the history of the federation.
The entities included: the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society, the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society, the St. Christopher National Trust along with the Department of Culture.
