Members of the public are currently being encouraged to send any pictures and videos taken of the damages or other impacts of Hurricane Tammy to the relevant authorities for further assessment and further planning.
This plea was made by Minister of Disaster, Works, et.al Hon. Spencer Brand as he spoke about the island’s dealings with the recent natural disaster. Minister Brand spoke on his delight in the minimum damages sustained on Nevis and the response of the public in being prepared for Hurricane Tammy.
He also said existing pictures and videos would play a major role in making impactful changes in disaster preparedness:
