‘Please listen to “Credible” media sources for accurate weather reporting, this comment was stressed upon during the Nevis Disaster Management Committee Meeting at the Disaster Conference Room at Long Point on Tuesday.

In the past, persons have been led to inaccurate information via social media about weather patterns which could result in added stress or fair to persons in the public.

Nevis’ Director of Disaster Management, Mr. Brian Dyer said that it is an on-going problem and encouraged the general public to be more responsible in seeking information from a reputable or trustworthy news source.
