Ministry of Health seeking to extend opening hours of health centres in St. Kitts

In an effort to provide better healthcare to persons in St. Kitts, the Ministry of Health is seeking to extend the opening hours of the three major health centres on the island.

The new plans are also in hopes to reduce the strain on the JNF Hospital caused by a large number of persons visiting the hospital for minor issues. Health centres in the federation usually open from 8am to 4pm. The initial facilities to begin the new regiment will be the Newton, Basseterre and St. Peters Health Centres.
