The Ministry of Information Technology in St. Kitts will be holding a week of activities, to honour girls in the field of Information Technology. 

The week of activities coincides with “International Girls in ICT Day”, which takes place on Thursday, April 22^nd, 2021.  

Dubbed “Girls in ICT”, Systems Manager at the Department of Information Technology – Eurta Chiverton, explained to the VONNEWSLINE why the Ministry decided to hold a “Girls in ICT” week of activities:

The week of activities will begin with Live Dialogues on April 22^nd entitled: “Girls Learn from Women Influencers in ICT” and concludes with a Social Media segment entitled: “Girls in ICT Tic TOK Challenge”, on April 29^th. 

The theme for this year is: “Connecting Goals; Creating Brighter Futures”.
