In an update, a spokesperson for the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force confirmed (today) Monday June 1st that missing visitor Wang Ziyuan was found dead on Mount Liamuiga.

Mr. Ziyuan went missing for five (5) days. It is understood that he went on a hiking execution without a guide.

He was last seen on the Mount Liamuiga Trail in St. Kitts on Wednesday, May 27th.

A large search team comprising of officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force, the St. Kitts-Nevis Fire and Rescue Department, Officers from the Police Training School, the Forest Unit, the Red Cross, K9 Unit and more assisted with the joint search operations across the mountain.
