The Ministry of Education formally launched its Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Week of Activities on Monday, May 22nd.
The initiative kicked off with a launch at 10am with STEM presentations throughout all schools on Nevis. During the launch, the public was encouraged to support the activities and the participating students. Also speaking about the initiative was Chairperson of the STEM Unit at the Department of Education, Mr. John Williams:

The remaining activities will include a Math Infusion Day (today) Tuesday where all planned lessons will incorporate Mathematics. On Wednesday, students will indulge in the STEM Challenge at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park, designed to utilize student’s technical knowledge and skills to complete given tasks and on Friday, a STEM Expo which will also take place at the park where a number of students-projects that were created throughout the year will be on display for the viewing of the public
