MOFA partners with Global Medic to secure PPE

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Monday (May 10th) made an important contribution to the Federation’s health efforts with a donation of Face Shields. 

 

The High Commission and Consulate of St. Kitts and Nevis in Canada were instrumental in securing a donation of over 8,000 Face Shields from GlobalMedic. 

 

GlobalMedic is a registered Canadian charity in Toronto that has been working to ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Face Masks and Face Shields that are available in Canada and around the world.  

 

Foreign Affairs Minister, Mark Brantley, conveyed his gratitude to Global Medic for the Non-Pharmaceutical Face Shields.

Mr. Brantley handed over the Face Shields to Federal Minister of Health et al, Akilah Byron-Nisbett, who also expressed her gratitude:
