MOH-St. Kitts receives final approval for the full working drawings of new JNF General Hospital

Ministry of Health (MOH)-St. Kitts has received the final certificate from the Development Control Planning Board (DCPB), which represents the final approval for the full working drawings for the construction of the new JNF General Hospital.

 

MOH said on social media “this certificate represents final approval for all working drawings that require approval from the DCPB.” These include the following drawings, but are not limited to: site and infrastructure, foundation and structures, Building and component and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.

 

The drawings have since been officially turned over to the Federal Government’s partner for the project, Contractor OECC (Overseas Engineering & Construction Company) of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

 

Health authorities said “more good news and action regarding the commencement of the construction phase of the project”, will be provided by Prime Minister and Minister of Health, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew.

 

Over a month ago, the Prime Minister said that construction of the climate-Smart JNF hospital will commence in December 2025.
