Twenty-five of the nation’s outstanding young people were honoured on Thursday evening, November 20th, during the 14th Annual “25 Most Remarkable Teens” Awards Ceremony, held as a Special Sitting of the National Assembly.
Members of the Federal Parliament, along with officials from the Department of Youth Empowerment, recognized the awardees for their courage, leadership, inspiration and overall excellence. The teens were celebrated for achievements in academics, sports, entrepreneurship, leadership, volunteerism, youth activism and other areas of national significance.
This year, five students from Nevis were among the honorees. They are: Nailah Taylor – Technology, J’hadone Herbert – Scholar Athlete, Ajernee Hodge – Academics and Youth Activism, Jaquori Isaac – Art and Creativity and Jayden Liburd – Scholar Athlete.
The “25 Most Remarkable Teens” Ceremony remains one of the major highlights of Youth Month, showcasing the promise, discipline and determination of the Federation’s young people.
National leaders extended congratulations to all 25 recipients, commending them for their contributions to their communities and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence as they pursue their future goals.
