NDMD conducts relief drive to assist persons in St. Vincent

The Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD) issued an appeal to citizens and residents of Nevis, to donate emergency relief supplies to the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), amid the La Soufriere Volcanic crisis. 

The NDMD collected relief items such as: drinking water, respirator masks with filters, non-perishable (dry food items), bleach, disinfectant, liquid soap and personal hygiene kits.  

The VONNEWSLINE spoke to Director of the NDMD – Mr. Brian Dyer on how the relief supplies drive went:

The Drive ended at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12th, 2021.

The items are scheduled to be shipped from the Federation (today) Tuesday, April 13th, 2021.
