NDMD grateful for US$28,000 dollar worth of supplies from US Southcom 

NDMD the (Nevis Disaster Management Department) received a donation of supplies valued at US$ 28,000.00 on Thursday, February 4th, as Humanitarian Aid from its long-standing partners, the United States Southern Command (US SOUTHCOM) through the Minimal Cost Project (MPC) at the US Embassy in Barbados.

The gift was made up of supplies such as: foldable cots, cotton blankets, first aid kits, hygiene kits, non-medical masks, gloves and automatic hand sanitizer dispensers.

 

It also marks the completion of a collaborative effort between staff of the US Embassy, US SOUTHCOM and the NDMD. 

 

According to a release from the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), the Minimal Cost Project is humanitarian in nature and is operated by the Embassy in Barbados.
