As schools across the federation were commended for their contributions to recycling efforts in St. Kitts and Nevis through the National Recycling Competition, the ambition for waste management in the federation was shared.

Regarding the matter of creating things of value from thrash, the Taiwan Technical Mission through Secretary Billy Chung handed over 1600 shirts made from recyclable materials collected from the federation to the Hon Jahnel Nisbett and the Hon. Dr. Joyelle Clarke, Federal Minister of Climate Action, Environment, et. al.
