On Tuesday June 30^th, 2026, the Nevis Performing Arts Centre saw the graduation ceremonies of two schools as the Nevis Academy and the St. Thomas’ Primary Schools honoured their students as they closed one chapter of their educational journey and will soon begin another.

In the morning, a total of 11 students graduated from Nevis Academy, under the theme: “Be Kind, Kindness Matters”. The top honours went to the Valedictorian, Mr. Kaijay Powell and Salutatorian, Mr. Elijay Rivers. During his valedictory address, Mr. Powell had these words to say:

In the afternoon, the St. Thomas’s Primary sent off 18 graduates while focusing on the theme: “The Journey to Purpose, Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow.” Valedictorian, Ms. Renneé James shared the following while remarking on the theme:

That was Valedictorian, Renneé James. Further, Myesha Jeffers earned the title of 2026 Salutatorian.
