The Alexandria Hospital here on Nevis, is bolstering its security system for patients, by way of a new security feature, identification wrist bands, which will be issued to persons who are admitted to the island’s main health facility.

Junior Minister of Health, the Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams, made the announcement when she visited the hospital on October 11^th, 2019.

The wrist bands will operate as an additional form of ID for patients at the Hospital.

Junior Minister Brandy Williams went further to explain, that each patient will be identified by a barcode in a newly introduced medical computerized system.
