Nevis completes the First phase of Climate Change Adaptation Project
On Sunday, September 27th, 2020 the island of Nevis completed the first phase of the Climate Change Adaptation Project.
Director of the Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD), Mr. Brian Dyer made the disclosure during a COVID-19 Briefing on Monday, September 28th, 2020.
Mr. Dyre gave a report concerning the schools here on Nevis, that have under gone water provision upgrades and installation of water tanks:
The Climate Change Adaptation Project will address the scarcity of water that some learning institutions are currently facing.

The project, estimated to cost US $205,000.00, is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC).
