The Department of Gender Affairs-Nevis is accepting nominations for its International Men’s Awards Ceremony and Cocktail. It forms part of the worldwide celebration of International Men’s Day, which is celebrated annually on November 19th.

It is an occasion to celebrate boys’ and men’s achievements and contributions, in particular for their contributions to nation, society, community, family, marriage, and childcare.

In that same vein, the Gender Affairs Department will highlight men who have contributed in some way. Gender Affairs Officer, is Mario Phillip.

Mr. Phillip told the VONNEWSLINE what the person (s) will receive after being successfully nominated and on the night of the awards ceremony in November.
