World Aids Day will be observed on Friday December 1st and in light of the day, Education and Prevention Officer at Nevis’ Health Promotion Unit, Ms. Terysia Herbert, told the VONNEWSLINE the Unit’s plans:

WHO, together with communities and partners (St. Kitts & Nevis included) will commemorate World AIDS Day 2023, under the theme: “Let communities lead”. Ms. Herbert spoke of other plans:

World AIDS Day, observed annually on Dec. 1st, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who’ve died of the disease.
