Nevis’ Department of Education will host its annual Interscholastic Spelling Bee Competition on Friday May 15^th, at the Nevis Performing Arts Centre (NEPAC). Principal Education Officer (PEO) at the Department of Education, Ms. Londa Brown, provided these details:

At 9:00 a.m., the Primary Schools Competition will feature spellers from St. James’ Primary, St. Thomas’ Primary, Elizabeth Pemberton Primary, Ivor Walters Primary, Charlestown Primary, Montessori Academy, Maude Crosse Preparatory, Nevis Academy and Joycelyn Liburd Primary Schools.

At 1:30 p.m., the Secondary Schools Competition will see the Charlestown Secondary, Gingerland Secondary and Nevis International Secondary Schools, vying the championship honours. PEO Brown said there will be prizes for the participants:
