Junior Minister of Health here on Nevis, the Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams, has assured persons within the nursing fraternity on the island, that “their time will come”, as it relates to salary upgrade. 

On October 29^th, Premier of Nevis and Senior Minister of Health, the Hon. Mark Brantley made an announcement that nurses received a salary upgrade (retroactive from June 1^st 2020). 

Nurses are on the frontline and they have a significant role in fighting COVID-19.

Minister Brandy-Williams made the disclosure in Parliament on November 5^th:
