As the summer gradually approaches, the federation is currently preparing for a number of activities and festivals that are meant to engage its citizens, residents and visitors.

One such activity is the Nevis Mango Festival. The annual event is organized by the Nevis Tourism Authority and has been known to feature mango-themed events such as a Mango cook-off, a Mango Eating Competition, and a Mango Bartender Contest.

For this year’s edition, some of the activities will include: the official launch on Friday, June 30th at Dew Drops Restaurant starting at 10am, featuring a Cooking Demonstration and the Mango Festival Open Day at Indian Castle Fruit Orchard at 1pm which will see Mango Eating and Mixologist Competitions, Tastings and a Mango Hunt.

July 1st, will see a Taste of Nevis Food Tour and Supper Club. The festival will then culminate on July 2nd with the ‘For the love of Mangoes Festival’ at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park featuring Chefs’ Competition and samplings, a Wellness zone and more.
