From Friday, July 1st to Sunday, July 3rd 2022, a popular event will take place on Nevis “The Mango Festival”.

The festivity comes after a two year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2020, the festival was held virtually.

The VONNEWSLINE recently spoke with CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA), Mr. Devon Liburd who elaborated on the activities that will take place on the first day of the festival, Friday, July 1st:

The island of Nevis has 44 different varieties of mangoes grown.

The annual Nevis Mango Festival is organized by the NTA in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture on Nevis.
