Nevis Mental Health Unit hosts Week of Activities October 9th – 15th
The Nevis Mental Health Unit is inviting the general public to join their activities honouring Mental Health day and week from October 9th – 15th.
Mental Health day, October 10th, aims “to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health,” according to who.int.
It provides “an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.”
The VON NEWSLINE recently spoke with Counsellor at the Nevis Mental Health Unit, Mr. McMillian Cuffy who spoke briefly on the upcoming week’s activities:
