In celebration of the month of older persons on Nevis, Minister of Social Development, the Hon. Eric Evelyn, has announced the month of activities, last Saturday, October 1^st.

On Sunday, the seniors along with the staff of the department and Ministry of Community Development et. al, participated in a worship service at the St. Johns United Pentecostal Church in Brown Pasture.

Monday was dubbed “Caring for the elderly” and visits were paid to the St. George’s and St. John’s Senior citizens’ home in Gingerland by care givers, while Tuesday was dubbed as Movies day where the seniors watched a movie at Nevis Performing Arts Center.
