“Who is going to win the Election?”
That’s a question Host of “A Nothing Off Limits” Interview, Mr. Evered “Webbo” Herbert, posed to Premier of Nevis and Leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM), the Hon. Mark Brantley.
The General Election is slated for Friday June 5th, 2020. There are 11 seats in the National Assembly, 8 in St. Kitts and 3 here on Nevis.
In the last General Elections which were held on February 16th 2015, the Team Unity Coalition, made up of the People’s Action Movement (PAM), Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) and People’s Labour Party (PLP), defeated the then ruling St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), led by Dr. Denzil Douglas.
In the 2015 elections, PAM won 4 seats, CCM won 2 seats and the PLP-1, totaling 7 seats. SKNLP won 3 and the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP), 1, totaling 4 seats.
During Sunday’s interview here on VON Radio, Mr. Brantley, who is also the CCM’s Candidate for the Nevis #9 constituency, gave this response as it regards his party’s position.
