Construction of Nevis’ first dedicated dialysis centre is almost completed. Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley, provided these details:

The U.S. $1.3 million project, which is being constructed at the Alexandra Hospital, is being funded by the developers of the proposed Destiny SSZ Project, Mr. Olivier Janssens and his team. According to Mr. Brantley, the developers will provide the finance for all of the dialysis centre operations, including staffing, for the first two years.

Additionally, the Premier indicated during the Aug. 19^th edition of the “On the Mark” show that personnel for the centre should be on the island later this month:
