Mr. Brantley was speaking in relation to the debt that the island of Nevis is in.

He also provided some more figures relating to the debt.

Nonetheless, the Premier said the debt stock from the external lenders decreased. Debt stock refers to the total value of the debt that a nation owes to all lenders.
