The Nevis Renal Society is hosting a week of activities in light of the observance of World Kidney Day.

World Kidney Day (WKD) was observed on March 11th, under the theme “Kidney health for everyone everywhere: Living Well with Kidney Disease”.

WKD is a global health awareness campaign focusing on the importance of the kidneys and reducing the frequency and impact of kidney disease as well as its associated health problems worldwide. President of the Nevis Renal Society, is Sherilyn Pemberton.

In providing a synopsis as to how the society came about, the President said the Renal Society, always provided support.
