Lawmen have provided an update on a recent non-fatal shooting incident that occurred on Nevis Street, St. Kitts, on Wednesday Jan. 10th, between 8:30PM and 9:30PM.

Thus far for 2024, this was the third shooting incident.

Initial inquiries suggest that 46-year-old Mandefro France of New Road, sustained a wound to one of his legs when two (2) assailants opened fire in his direction. Mr. France was transported to the JNF General Hospital where he was treated and warded in stable condition. The Crime Scene Unit of the Police Force processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value.
