Nevis took the title of top student in the St. Kitts-Nevis National Cooperative League/Department of Cooperatives’ annual Primary School Quiz Competition Finals.
It was the first time the island participated in the event. At the end of the quiz, a student of the Maude Crosse Preparatory School, Ms. Augerae Browne came out on top in the individual scoring category, with Neroy Foster of the Sandy Point Primary School taking 2nd place and Zarinque Woodley of the Dr. Williams Connor Primary School.
The entire competition comprised of a total of four preliminary rounds with four zones, one of the zones being on Nevis. Representing the island were Augerae Browne and Sanae Merchant of the Maude Crosse Preparatory School along with Malia Blake and Adrian Douglas of the St. James Primary School.
