Nevisian public encouraged to keep Mondo Track entrances closed

The government has addressed a recurring issue at the Nevis Athletic Stadium where persons using the stadium failed to close the entrances/exits at the facility, allowing animals to enter the premises.

 

 

 

According to reports, the facility is usually left unlocked for the usage of the public; however, the continued practice of leaving access points opened has increased the number of stray animals causing issues on the track and the grounds.

 

 

 

Making an appeal to the public to refrain from leaving the area open was Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley:
