Nevisian public “unlikely” to see new taxes for 2021 Budget
“Can the people of Nevis expect the 2021 Budget to have new taxes?”
The VONNEWSLINE posed that question to Nevis’ Premier and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Mark Brantley.
This, as he will present the 2021 Budget on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at the Assembly’s Chambers, at 11:00 a.m. according to a Press Release from the Government.
The 2021 Budget will also come in the midst of the world and specifically, St. Kitts and Nevis battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
At his Press Conference on Thursday, November 26th, 2020 Premier Brantley said the aim is to jump-start the local economy:
