The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has launched the Regional Economical Agri-Insurance Programme (REAP), a major initiative aimed at safeguarding farmers and fisherfolk while strengthening resilience to climate change. The programme was officially introduced on March 17^th, during a ceremony at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.

Implemented through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources in partnership with Lynch Caribbean Brokers Limited and National Caribbean Insurance (NCI), REAP features a parametric insurance model tailored to regional conditions.  Federal Minister of Agriculture, the Hon.
