New eTA System Now in Full Effect for St. Kitts and Nevis

Monday September 1st 2025 marks the end of the discounted service fee for St. Kitts and Nevis’ new Electronic Travel Authorization system, which officially launched on May 26th.

All visitors must now secure an approved eTA before traveling to the Federation. Applications can be completed quickly using the St. Kitts and Nevis e-Border mobile app, available on Android and iOS or through the website knatravelform.kn.

As of Sep. 1st, the service charge has moved from the introductory rate of US $8.50 to the standard fee of US $17. The eTA remains valid for 90 days or until the traveler’s passport expires.

Citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as nationals from OECS and CARICOM countries, are exempt, but they must continue filling out the online immigration and customs declaration form.

Government officials are reminding travelers that the eTA system is part of efforts to modernize border management, reduce wait times on arrival, and enhance security, making travel to the Federation smoother and more efficient.
