A man from John Street, Newtown, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to seven (7) months in His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Battery (the physical act that results in harm or offense to another person without their consent).
Jesus Valdez was sentenced on Tuesday Jan. 28th at the Magistrate’s Court in Basseterre, St. Kitts, by Her Honour Sherry-Ann Liburd-Charles.
In December, Valdez received two (2) additional charges for the murders of thirty (30)-year-old Devon Parris and nine (9)-year-old J’Marni Smithen, both of Craddock Road, Nevis, which were committed on August 1st 2024, at Newton Ground, St. Kitts.
He was also charged in December for the shooting death of eighteen (18)-year-old Crisbel Rivera of Carty Alley, Newtown, which occurred on April 17th 2024, at John Street, Newtown.
