“Has the NIA (Nevis Island Administration) been paying NEVLEC?”

That was a question posed by the VONNEWSLINE, to Nevis’ Premier and Minister of Public Utilities & Energy, the Hon. Mark Brantley.

It comes following reports of the Government owing NEVLEC (Nevis Electricity Company Limited) millions of dollars.

Though Premier Brantley confirmed that the Government owes NEVLEC, he explained that his current CCM-led administration continues to pay the Utility Company.
