Ninety-one students make up 2023 Charlestown Secondary School graduating class

A total of ninety-one students graduated from the Charlestown Secondary School (CSS) on Tuesday, December 5th at the Cultural Village during the annual Graduation and Prize Giving Ceremony.

 

 

 

This year’s edition was held under theme, “Education For The Future: Learning, Growing, Succeeding Together” and saw the delivery of the chairperson’s remarks by Ms. Infatari Hanley, the principal’s remarks by Mrs. Nicola Huggins-Parris. A number of graduands were also highlighted for their achievements in academics, sports and other activities throughout their secondary tenure. Among those recognized was valedictorian of the class Ms. Imogen Archibald and salutatorian Mr. Aiden Liburd.

 

 

 

During her valedictory speech, Ms. Archibald offered words of gratitude to all who had contributed to the success of the class of 2023 and encouraged her fellow graduands to take the virtues obtained at the institution into their future endeavors:
