Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), has advised that there are no immediate plans to make changes to the EC polymer notes and coins. 

This comes on the heels of the death of Queen Elizabeth the II, on September 8^th, 2022. Mr. Timothy Antoine, while in an interview on “ECCB Connects” YouTube channel, explained the status of the EC currency. 

However, the passing of the Queen raises the question as to “what is next?” Governor Antoine gave this comment.
