He was speaking in relation to the public holidays (Monday August 3^rd and Tuesday August 4^th), here in St. Kitts and Nevis.

In April 2020, Minister of Culture here on Nevis, the Hon. Eric Evelyn, announced that because of the Coronavirus pandemic, Culturama 2020 (Culturama 46) was cancelled and rescheduled to July 22^nd to August 3^rd 2021.

Hence, an event dubbed “Emancipation Celebration” is slated for August 3rd and 4th here on Nevis.

The event, organized by the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), will feature electronic bands, DJ’s and a host of cultural acts from St. Kitts (which includes bulls, clowns, masquerades and mummies).
