No one has been held for questioning in connection to the murder of 39-year-old Jermaine “Chubby” Clarke of College Street, St. Kitts, a police spokesperson said.
Clarke, who was the lead singer of the Kollision Band, was gunned down in the wee hours of Sunday Apr. 5th in Keys Village.
He was seated in his vehicle along with a female occupant, when he was approached and shot multiple times by one or more-armed assailants. Both individuals were transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by private vehicle. Mr. Clarke later succumbed to his injuries.
The female occupant did not sustain any gunshot injuries but she was injured during the incident.
Earlier this month, The VONNEWSLINE inquired from the police about the circumstances which led to Chubby’s demise. Lawmen said that they were “unable to share specific details regarding motive or other investigative findings.”
Despite this, the investigation is active. Chubby’s murder was the 2nd homicide for 2026 in SKN.
