No storm threat for SKN “at the moment”

He was giving the VONNEWSLINE on an update about the Atlantic Hurricane Season, following Hurricane Lee’s passage.

 

 

 

Hurricane Lee passed Northeast of SKN, with winds of up to 150 mph, but did not significantly impact our nation, according Met Officials in St. Kitts.

 

 

 

Every year, the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th. Currently, we are in the peak of the Season. So far, we have had at least 12 named storms. Forecasters anticipate 14 to 21 named storms for the Season.
