Non-fatal accident occurred on Nevis, driver experienced mechanical issues Post author:sisterisles Post published:August 19, 2022 Post category:Local / News A traffic accident occurred on Nevis sometime on Thursday morning, Aug. 18th, according to local police. A police spokesperson said the vehicle with the license plate PB 2391, was owned by NEVLEC but was being driven by Tariq Wilks of Pond Hill. Circumstances are that Wilks at around 7:55 a.m., was driving from Pond Hill, when the vehicle developed mechanical issues and he lost control. The vehicle was extensively damaged. 1 person was sent to the Alexandra Hospital for injuries.
