“Nurses: A Voice to Lead – A vision for future healthcare” is the theme for International Nurses Day 2021.
The day is celebrated around the world every May 12th, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
According to icn.ch, the International Council of Nurses commemorates this important day each year with the production and distribution of the International Nurses’ Day (IND) resources and evidence.

Fruits and Water Day was held on Tuesday (May 11th) as part of activities for Nurses Week.
The day also welcomed the Nurses annual Walk which began at the Alexandra Hospital’s Parking Lot.
