Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley has announced the closure of the office designated for the Nevis Island Assembly’s Member of the Opposition. Over recent years, the opposition has only consisted of one member, thereby having no leader, the office has been occupied by the respective member.
Premier Brantley made the announcement during his monthly press conference Tuesday March, 28th. Due to matters currently ongoing among the island’s opposition members, the government has undertaken measures.
