Offices of NIA to remain close, Premier urges all to exercise “MAXIMUM CAUTION”

The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has so far, 15 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus (CoVID-19), which includes: 13 active cases, 2 recovered cases and Zero (0) deaths.

 

There are 11 in St. Kitts and 4 here on Nevis. In this regard, social distancing has been encouraged both in St. Kitts and Nevis.

 

In light of the above mentioned, according to the Statutory Rules and Orders No. 7 of 2020, Emergency Powers (CoVID-19) Regulations, 2020, Section 6 (Social Distancing and Physical Distancing protocols), “All business establishments shall make the necessary arrangements to facilitate social distancing and physical distancing and shall ensure that all customers and staff maintain physical distancing of at least six (6) feet in or outside of their business.”

 

Nevis’ Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley, spoke of social distancing and the closure of offices of the Nevis Island Administration (NIA).

 

 

Premier Brantley also urged all to be cautious.
